Warranty Information

• All LabTrader instruments come with a 90 Day Warranty.

90 Day Warranty- Seller warrants to Buyer that the goods shipped to buyer are free of operating defects under normal use for a period of 90 days from the date of delivery. Seller will provide the necessary parts and labor to provide such operating condition. Warranty does not cover operator error, operator misuse, nor repair by third party. Warranty does not include operating failure due to natural catastrophes, electrical failures or voltage spikes, fire, theft or failure to operate the equipment according to operational procedures as outlined by the original manufacturer. Seller is not responsible for any training or instruction with respect to the equipment and assumes that the buyer knows what is being purchased and how to safely and correctly operate the equipment. Warranty does not include seals, valve gaskets, bulbs, filters, and all other short-wear items. All sales are final.

Sales Terms

• What are LabTraders Sales Terms?

Payment in advance for first time clients. NO exceptions. Purchase orders on all transactions preferred. Shipping and crating charges are estimates. For California customers appropriate sales tax has been added. All items come with a 90 day warranty unless stated otherwise in this quotation. All items subject to availability. Installation is the responsibility of the buyer except as stated otherwise. International orders do not include duties, custom fees, or VAT. All returned items subject to approval by the Seller and subject to a 35% restocking fee plus all shipping costs.

Purchasing Terms

• What are LabTraders Purchasing Terms?

For immediate purchase we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and American Express P Cards. If paying with a credit card please call or email your sales representative to request a credit card authorization form. Please provide ‘bill to’ and ‘ship to’ information, along with a purchasing contact for our records.

Shipping and Delivery Terms

• What are LabTraders Shipping and Delivery Terms?

Local Delivery Policy applies to San Diego, Orange, Los Angeles, and San Bernardino Counties. LabTrader offers inside delivery and partial set up with qualified service and instrument engineers. Rates vary based on quantity and size of equipment and the rate includes 30 minutes of labor and set up. Buyer: Measure your doors, elevators, hallways and access docks – if we have to alter the instrument or facility to get the instrument to where you need it additional charges will apply. No shipping or delivery fees will be assessed for any client pick up / will call orders. Shipping and crating charges are estimates; subject to additional charges for extra services (delivery with a lift gate, inside deliveries, etc.) or for changes in shipping rates and fuel surcharges.

We have hundreds of parts instruments available in our refurbishment shop - please call us toll free at 888 LabTrader or email us at info@labtrader.com with the exact part you are looking for. Please include the instrument manufacturer and model number, as well as the part number. We willl do our best to answer your inquiry as quickly as possible. Please note all parts sales are final, and terms are as is where is.

Equipment to Sell

• Looking to sell equipment.

Please email us with your equipment list at info@labtrader.com. Please include as much detail as possible, such as: manufacturer, model number, accessories, recent maintenance or certification notes, an overview of the instrument usage, pictures, and where the equipment is located. Please note we do not purchase assets that have gone through auction houses. If we are interested we will contact you to discuss pricing. LabTrader pays for surplus assets before or at the time of pick up. LabTrader accepts all liability upon execution of a signed sales contract. We will do our best to address your email as quickly as possible.

Prop Rentals for TV & Film

• Do you rent instruments as props for TV & Movie studios?

Yes we do. We have rented in the past to such TV productions as CSI, CSI: Miami and NCIS. We have also rented equipment to the most recent Star Trek movie, as well as the Incredible Hulk and Spiderman to name a few. We have instruments for rent and for purchase as scientific props including: microscopes, biological hoods, various benchtop instruments, and other cool looking scientific equipment.
