This PCR thermal cycler is designed for cycling temperatures from 0 to 100 C with gradient capability (30 to 100 C) and supports 96 x 0.2 mL tubes, 48 x 0.5 mL tubes, or a 96-well plate. The unit features an 8.5-inch LCD touchscreen and multiple USB ports (5 x USB-A, 1 x USB-B) for protocol control and data transfer. Technician notes indicate the unit powers on and completes its self-test; however, there is visible liquid staining/marking on the side and the green plastic lid handle is cracked near a mounting screw. Calibration may be required for optimal performance and accuracy. Includes power cord.
