Description
Bio-Rad QX ONE droplet digital PCR (ddPCR) system, manufactured in 2023, designed for absolute quantification of DNA and RNA using droplet partitioning and endpoint fluorescence detection. The system supports multiplexed ddPCR workflows with detection channels for FAM, HEX, Cy5, and Cy5.5 plus a scatter channel, and includes thermal gradient capability for optimized cycling. It accommodates up to 5 plates with up to 96 samples per plate and targets approximately 20,000 droplets per sample. Results timing is about 6.5 hours for the first plate and about 4 hours for each additional plate using a standard 2-step ddPCR cycling protocol. Intake inspection found the unit in working order with near-new appearance and minimal cosmetic wear; it is sold as received without reconditioning.
