The Centervue S-maia Macular Integrity Assessment System, manufactured in 2022, is an advanced ophthalmic microperimeter designed to evaluate macular function under scotopic and mesopic conditions. The system includes the Compact H-Base Instrument Table with K2026RT Lift Column, offering adaptable and interchangeable features for various instruments. The S-MAIA utilizes Scanning Laser Ophthalmoscopy (SLO) technology and an eye tracker for real-time compensation of eye movements, ensuring accurate retinal sensitivity measurement. It operates non-mydriatically, requiring a minimum pupil diameter of 2.5 mm. This new unit may have minor cosmetic marks from storage.
