Description

GE Asymptote VIA Freeze controlled-rate freezer for cryopreservation using conduction cooling and programmable freezing profiles. This unit holds 48 x 2.0 mL standard cryovials and includes an onboard secure data logging system with a fully featured protocol editor for controlled-rate runs. It features a secure Ethernet interface for remote control and automated applications, supporting integration into digital batch record workflows. Operating temperature range is 5 C to 30 C, with a supply of 120-240 V AC at 50-60 Hz and 250 VA power draw. The sample area is described as seamless with no dirt traps and is cleanable using standard wipes. Intake inspection confirmed working status, reaching -32 C during testing, with excellent cosmetic condition and only minor signs of prior use.
