Description
Varian 450-GC Gas Chromatograph with FID and TSD detectors for gas chromatography applications. This unit is being sold as a non-starting parts donor/repair candidate; the instrument does not start and is not operational. The 450-GC platform is designed for flexible single, dual, or triple channel configurations and can be reconfigured or upgraded as laboratory analysis needs change. The FID (flame ionization detector) is intended for sensitive detection of hydrocarbons and many carbon-containing compounds. The TSD (thermionic specific detector), also known as a nitrogen-phosphorus detector, is designed to respond primarily to nitrogen and phosphorus compounds. Includes power cord.
